Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice explains how MoldSentrix, operated by Goldenhandsman LLC ("MoldSentrix," "we," "us"), collects, uses, stores, and protects information in connection with our environmental monitoring service. It forms part of, and is incorporated into, the MoldSentrix Monitoring Service Agreement.

1. Information We Collect

• Contact & account information you provide: name, property address, phone number, email address, and billing details.
• Environmental sensor data from installed devices: temperature, relative humidity, and related readings, together with timestamps and sensor location labels.
• Service & device data: sensor identifiers, connectivity status, alert history, and dashboard usage needed to operate and support the service.

MoldSentrix sensors measure environmental conditions only. They do not capture audio, video, images, or the personal activities of occupants.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide the monitoring service: collect readings, run the Green/Amber/Red risk algorithm, and deliver alerts and reports.
• To install, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve sensors, the platform, and the dashboard.
• To communicate with you about your account, alerts, service, and billing.
• To meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations.

3. How We Share Information

• We never sell your personal information to third parties.
• Service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, messaging/SMS delivery) may process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, only as needed to run the service.
• Legal: we may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MoldSentrix, our clients, or others.
• Business transfer: if the business is sold or reorganized, information may transfer to the successor, subject to this Notice.

4. Data Storage & Security

• Data is stored on encrypted cloud servers with access limited to authorized personnel.
• We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain client and environmental data for the duration of the active service plan plus 12 months, after which it is deleted or anonymized, except where a longer period is required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

6. Anonymized & Aggregated Data

We may use de-identified, aggregated environmental data (which cannot reasonably be used to identify you or your property) for research, benchmarking, and improving our risk models and service.

7. Your Choices & Rights

• Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate account information.
• Deletion: request deletion of your data upon termination of service, subject to legal retention requirements.

8. Children's Privacy

The service is intended for property owners and authorized agents. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active clients, and the current version is always available on this page or upon request.
