About Us

MoldSentrix is a preventive mold risk monitoring service based in the Tampa Bay area. We install environmental sensor systems in homes, community buildings, and other properties, and combine continuous monitoring with data analysis informed by environmental science — so risk is identified before it becomes damage.

Who We Are

MoldSentrix was founded by Inha Ushakova, an IoT engineer with a formal background in environmental science. It grew out of Goldenhandsman LLC, a Florida home-services company founded by her family, where years spent working inside Tampa Bay homes surfaced the same problem again and again. Her husband Dmytro leads field installations.

Inha spent six years studying engineering programming and environmental systems at the International Sakharov State Ecological University, earning a qualification that combines environmental science with applied information technology — evaluated in the United States as the equivalent of U.S. Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Ecology and Applied Computer Information Systems.

Before MoldSentrix, she worked as a software developer on a real-time interactive IoT communication system that was used at large public venues in the Greater Toronto Area, contributing backend development and system architecture to a platform that has operated reliably for years.

How MoldSentrix Started

In 2022, Inha and Dmytro immigrated to the United States and settled in the Tampa Bay area, where her family founded Goldenhandsman LLC. Working inside residential properties day after day, one issue kept reappearing: hidden mold and the effects of uncontrolled humidity.

Florida's climate creates ideal conditions for mold, and it usually develops invisibly — behind walls, above ceilings, inside structures. By the time it becomes visible, the damage is already done.

Mold growth follows measurable environmental conditions — sustained humidity, temperature, and organic material. The only variable that can be continuously monitored and controlled in real time is humidity. That insight became MoldSentrix.

What We Build

MoldSentrix is not just a sensor setup — it is a monitoring service. Sensors continuously track temperature and humidity in the highest-risk zones of a property. Our AI-assisted analysis reviews the data with awareness of each specific home, and when conditions approach risk thresholds, owners receive early, actionable alerts — before damage occurs.

The principle is simple: identify risk before it becomes a problem.

What MoldSentrix Does Not Do

MoldSentrix provides monitoring data on the conditions that lead to mold growth. We do not perform mold assessment or remediation, we do not identify mold species, and we do not replace a licensed Florida mold assessor.

Looking Ahead

We are developing MoldSentrix into a scalable preventive monitoring system for humidity-related risks in residential and nonprofit environments, with the long-term goal of expanding into high-humidity regions across the United States.

Six years of formal engineering education. A decade of applied work in environmental systems, data, and software development. And continuous hands-on field experience observing how uncontrolled moisture affects homes and families. That is what brought us here.
